From personally traveling to Niagara for bride prep with Alina to time lapses {thanks a million Suen!} to having an EPIC photo session on day 2 with Aamer & Iman to playing their portrait film & next day edit trailer – it was jam packed!

ö Logistics as mentioned in our earlier post for their portrait {film}, are really what can make or break the outcome of the visuals we produce and the post process. This was definitely no different as a lot of travel was involved during this weekend but as always – it was worth every KM driven! Day 1 was a small Mehndi night where Imran in particular whipped out his dancing shoes, and surprised us all! Day 2 followed with a 1st look between Alina and Imran, which we’ve got to thank the folks from Studio 95 for coordinating and being so patient with us for. First looks are tough but aren’t hard to coordinate and when you have a crazy fun duo like Studio 95 shooting with you – you really can’t fail. Day 3 lead into a small and intimate Walima held at the Apollo Convention Centre.

ö I don’t think I can forget the nauseous/anxious/HOLY COW feeling I had when I arrived at Apollo to wrap up editing Alina & Imran’s next day edit. In addition to being a perfectionist when it comes to putting up work for a large audience to see, time was ticking and running out. Entrances, speeches, family portraits and dinner had begun and almost ended when they played the trailer. It got a great response & I can’t thank my ninja like shooters, Suen and Isuru enough, for holding me down during those 3 days. Just after dinner ended I remember asking Alina & Imran what they thought of the edit and I saw Alina shed a small tear – all my creatives in the industry can agree, this is just one of the realest moments you can cherish from a client. Weekends spent shooting can get exhausting and really stressful but a moment like that, really took it all away. Less words, more visuals: take a look at Alina & Imran’s 3 day wedding!

Alina & Imran’s Wedding ö A few weeks ago we were honored to film day 1 through 3 of Alina & Imran’s wedding.
